There are generally two main reasons to consider automatic feeding of flowrappers and similar machines. One is to handle high packing speeds, the other is to reduce or even eliminate labour.

Imagine a packing machine with no operators......that's zero labour costs. Is that possible? Well, we can come very close, maybe a few minutes every hour or so and certainly no full time operators. Our 'SlipFeed' In-Line Feeder can handle most products suitable for flowrapping and can be coupled to any new or existing flowrapper. Installation is performed with no significant down-time and it generally pays for itself within months. This is true even if you maintain the same production rate, but it also means your speed of packing is no longer limited by how fast operators can physically load the machine. For particularly delicate products we can supply a contact-less multi-belt 'MultiFeeder'. And for total automation in the most difficult conditions, a  complete single or multi-head robot provides astonishing capability.
