Low Cost Flowrapper uses midasmotion

midasmotion were not the first choice for small UK machinery manufacturer, CSS. However they soon approached us and asked for help! Now they have a reliable low cost machine that uses standard AC motors. With our help CSS now compete head-on with strong competition from Italy, Spain and even China.
Working on a very tight budget we designed and built a new control system, installed it in the prototype machine, programmed our CTLM5005 motion controller, and had it tested to ISO9000:2000 and TickIT standards ready for delivery to an end-user in around two weeks. We now supply complete kits to CSS, including sensors, temperature controllers and general electrical components along, of course, with our motion controller and software.

In recent years we have developed a highly structured design management system that integrates and streamlines everything from initial quotation and proposal, through bill-of-materials, design drawings, repeat production data and build instructions. This approach is enormously helpful when development costs and time are so important and helps us provide an accurate and professional 'Total Solution'.

CSS now build various different styles of the original concept, including a 'top-seal' version and an automatic feeder. Our 'SLipFeed' low pressure in-line feeder can be integrated into the infeed section and provides a very cost-effective automatic packing line.
